Valentino en Blanc

Normally I’m not a fan of all white, not on one person nor on a lot of people at the same time. Especially the latter; I hate all white weddings, I hate White Sensation kind of events – my limit is the bride + bridesmaids and that’s it. However the latest Valentino “Sala Bianca” couture collection that was presented in New York last week as a celebration of the original Valentino’s early, 60’s-era collections gave a new meaning to white all together. You’d think that one simply can’t come up with 42 coherent white looks all more beautiful and lighter than the other but Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli are no ordinary designers. After this I’d gladly welcome white as the new red for Valentino.

Off The Shoulder, On Your Finger

Saja Bridal 2015 The first ever wedding dress of which I saved the picture on my desktop for “future reference” was an off the shoulder Alberta Ferretti gown. Before that I had no interest in anything bridal related and I even thought I hated all wedding gowns but that gem pulled me into this multi billion industry of single day parties. Now, more than 10 years later, off the shoulder gowns are making a dramatic comeback in so many shapes, so many fabrics, so many styles but all oh so very beautiful. From bohemian to glamourous, contemporary to minimal, theatrical to austere – I personally paired the most beautiful off the shoulder wedding gowns with exquisite engagement and wedding rings from leading fine jewelry manufacturer Anjolee. Be a dreamy bride in 2015 with THE wedding dress and the perfect jewelry to go with it: let it be a ring or another stunner like this Diamond Tennis Bracelet. Wedding Wednesdays in full flow!

She’s A Super Girl

Alberta Ferretti Bridal 2015 Safe space here guys, you can confess how you listened to Super Girl from Reamonn over and over again when you are upset about something. Or how speechless you were when you saw Gwyneth Paltrow in that Tom Ford white caped gown at 2012 Academy Awards no matter how mainstream it is to hate her. What these two things have in common? The supergirl feeling you get from capes will turn you into a super bride in 2015. Chiffon, lace, structured – a seperate piece or part of the dress and maybe even with a hood; baby don’t mind how they come. Bridal capes are especially perfect for fall and early spring weddings.
