No Frames, No Worries

Alternative Photo Framing Ideas

I love absolutely everything about interior styling and I can play with furniture & details all day long, everything but framing and hanging those frames. I know deep down that prints, posters and art should be framed and kept safe that way but for me it’s pure torture, not to mention boring. A year ago, when we moved into our new house, I bought almost 50 frames in various sizes and colors from IKEA with the dream of making a gallery wall but all they did make is a dustball under our bed. Now that I bought the poster I’ve been lusting after for such a long time, I’m looking for some alternative ways to hang prints.

I’m finding these wooden strip hangers perfect for big posters whereas pant hangers or hangers with clips more suitable for small prints and photos. Just want to drill two holes and be done with it? IKEA picture ledges or Urban Outfitters clip strings are your bag. Don’t want to bother with nails at all? Stick them to the wall and add an electric tape in the color of your choice around it et voila!
