You may have some mixed, or even harsh feelings about Julia Roberts’ golden globe attire, a lot of people thought she looked much older than herself and ruined the beautiful Dolce & Gabbana gown by wearing a simple white shirt underneath. I say, forget about what you thought about that look because shirts and t-shirts worn under strapless dresses or bustiers are here for good. Maybe choosing it as a red carpet outfit was not a wise choice but it is a wonderful use of that “going out” tops and cocktail dresses with which you don’t know what to do in daylight. It gives class and adds masculinity to the otherwise girly or maybe even tacky tops and adapts them to casual day or work wear – not to mention keeps you a tad warmer. Think of Sarah Rutson in the first photo, I don’t think she would look half as cool if she wore that top or shirt alone.
