I’m just going to confess; couple of days ago when I was scheduling the upcoming posts, I looked at Paris Fashion Week calendar and the minute I saw the Givenchy show was on Sunday, I left monday free. I knew, before seeing it, that it would be surprising, amazing, game changing and apparently, dashing! Seems like Alber Elbaz lent Riccardo Tisci his exquisite drapes and leather harnesses, to which Tisci added a new dimension with embossed fabrics, peacock loop knits and slinky sequins. He said he clashed the fragility of Japan and the draping of Africa; coming up with a restrained and highly inspirational collection.
On a side note; Tisci confirmed with his leather sandals that we will be fashionably comfortable for at least one more season. Thank you Japan, thank you Africa! Thank you, thank you Givenchy!
