Rule Breaker

all white leandra medine all white

Is there any other color in the world that is subject to so many rules? You can’t wear it in winter, you can’t after labour day, you have to be veeery careful with your underwear – same thing when you choose a white bikini. It’s so strong that you always have to choose a darker shade or at least a pastel complementary to dim the look a little. It’s the symbol of innocence yet it’s extremely striking. Don’t even get me started on the stain issue. All things considered; an all white outfit is set to be the breaker of holiest of the rules! And oh my does it look good, as good as the perfect sin.

Officially acknowledged by a whole range of designers from Burberry to Fendi, Chloe to Stella Mc Cartney, Haider Ackermann to Reed Krakoff – summer 2013 is your best chance to try out an all white outfit with a valid reason to hold against your fashion impaired friends and parents. They will still make fun of you and people will still stare, but you will walk tall. Even taller if you opt for long wide leg trousers (approved).

  1. Oh I am totally obsessed with white at the moment. I posted a full white outfit a few weeks ago (its winter here in Australia – so quite hard to do) and I must say it will be something i try again! White is beautiful and striking and man it looks good in those street style pics!

I love white but it never looks right on me – I think you have to have the perfect piece in order to pull it off

About 70% of my wardrobe must be white/cream. I agree with how many precautions it takes to wear said shade though! xo
