If you are working for a fashion house like Valentino; it is a hard task to keep up with the heritage whilst capturing the moment, the balance is essential. I don’t know if I would overstep the mark if I were to say that designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli is doing this job better than Garavani himself. Ok thats not fair, but it’s safe to say that they are making us hop on our seats everytime we see the looks come down the runway. With the ever intricate craftsmanship, enchanting prints (especially the blue China) and playful scallop details (my favourite! – where the hell is my green scallopped peter pan shorts?!); the collection skipped heartbeats, one look at a time.
