Sweater Week Day 4: Its Like a Zoo Out Here

Remember the movie Bridget Jones (who am I kidding, everyone remembers that) when Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) was wearing that god-awful deer motif sweater and it was so not cool at all? Well, we should have taken a hint when he ended up as the ever dreamy Mr.Right.

Burberry has chosen the witty owl as the weapon of choice; Topshop opted for an amazingly cute panda last season – still keeps up with the trend with the bat sweater from the  J.W.Anderson for Topshop collection (which got sold out in hours and resulted in a bat invasion at London Fashion Week). It doesn’t always have to be cute; Givenchy and Balenciaga kept it rough with the shark and wolf motifs (that wolf was totally lovable though).

Anyways; these last few seaons are proof that you can never be too old or too nobby for some zoo fun.

  1. I absolutely detest animals on clothing, especially the stoopid JW Anderson bat… that was until I saw a lovely pink sequin peacock cashmere in monsoon’s window – that shut me right up!
