Introducing the First Annual Sweater Week

Sweaters, I love them. I love them so much that I’ve decided to reward them by making up a whole week celebrating their existence. I can not have too many sweaters, even if I have one million of them I’ll find a way to wear one each day. So I figured – spread the love – from now on every week starting with the first monday of November is the official sweater week.

Monday: grid & illusion.

The good old gingham took a twisted turn with the wide illusional paths of J.W. Anderson and Kenzo, which caused a stir and created a sweater rave during fashion week. It was the ultimate dressing down component, just the one we’ve been looking for all along.

If you are also as captivated as me just by looking at the sweaters and the little dots that appear between the grids, this sort of illusion is right for you. Narrow or wide; black or white; diagonal or horizontal…
